What happens to a love lost?

What happens to a love lost?
Does it get tangled like an empty thought?
Or it crumbles like a wrecked heart?

Does it still feel warm and sound familiar?
And follows the same tune of sweet soliloquy?
Does it bloom and brighten,
And get into the whisper enlighten?
What happens to a love lost?
Does it still dust the vivid laughter?
Or keep the soul lighter?

Where’s the heart entangled?
My beloved’s touch swept through the cold ache,
The bold gaze – tamed,
My old coffee mug & the lipstick mark,
All smelt so queer –

That’s how the ended love, the lost intimacy spoke –
the last words of kind knit and crescent shine,
The heart remains crumbled,
the charm fading;
My orange sunset taking the breath –
my love is ending.
