Semicolon

His presence is

like a semi-colon,

Hurting me enough,

to have the urge

of, finishing our story.

But the memories

we shared, insist

me to hold onto

the dying hope

of better days.

As I draw the

ending line, there

comes another pause;

not all stories have happy endings.

  1. I felt like I was reading a story and almost whined when I read the end :/
    But very skillfully written. Using a semi colon as metaphor is almost rare.
